Young Writer's Workshop
About
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the likelihood that the novel coronavirus will continue to pose a threat in the coming months, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Young Writers Workshop for this summer. However, we plan to offer an online, two-week version of the workshop for interested students (at substantially lower cost). Students already accepted for this summer's residential workshop will be given preference for enrolling in the "virtual workshop." Any additional openings will be offered to qualified students who apply in the coming weeks. Students may enroll in this "prelude" to the Young Writers Workshop AND attend the residential workshop next summer. All students accepted for the workshop this year will be given automatic admission in 2021, assuming they haven't graduated from high school. Please contact Dr. Jamie Hutchinson at jamieh@simons-rock.edu for further information.
