YMCA Camp Takodah

About

Voted ‘Best Overnight Camp in New Hampshire’ — and only 90 minutes from Boston — Camp Takodah provides award-winning overnight camps for kids ages 7-15.

Takodah helps campers discover who they are and what they can achieve. In our single-gender camps, kids unplug so they can connect with themselves and each other. In everything we do, we empower kids with the confidence and character needed to reach their full potential.

What sets us apart is topnotch staff, rich traditions, a ‘friendly to all’ community, single-gender camps, a tech-free environment, and YMCA character development.

Campers love Takodah’s choice-based, progressive program. Campers get to choose their own classes and activities, all of which help them build skills, confidence, and self-respect. They also have new options every summer, giving them a chance to build on past successes while exploring new interests.

Excellent Camp

I went to Camp Takodah years ago and loved it. The directors make me feel confident and helped me to achieve tasks I wouldn't normally have tried. Great area; beautiful lake and surroundings.
