Trustees of Reservations Camps

With world-class properties like the Crane Estate and Appleton Farms (Ipswich), World’s End and Weir River Farm (Hingham), Powisset Farm (Dover), The Farm Institute (Martha’s Vineyard), and deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum (Lincoln), The Trustees offer unparalleled camp experiences.

For more than 125 years, The Trustees has protected special places across Massachusetts, provided care of our reservations, built new programs to engage and connect people to our places – our land and our natural world, our farms and our food, our history and our culture. Our passion is to protect and share with everyone the irreplaceable natural and cultural treasures under our care.

With 118 properties in every corner of the state and nearly 5,000 annual programs, we offer something for all ages, all year long. • At signature Trustees farm camps in Ipswich, Dover, and Edgartown, campers not only participate in cultivating the garden, but they also get to pick the produce they’ve grown from which they create masterpieces in the teaching kitchens. At all four farms (including Hingham), campers take personal pride in caring for goats, horses, sheep, rabbits, horses, pigs, and the abounding gardens and fields.
  • Camps in Ipswich and Hingham also offer coastal summer experiences, where ecology goes hand in hand with exploring the animal habitats and water habits unique to the Massachusetts coast, while also spending time in the nearby enchanting woods.
  • And if art and engineering are your campers’ interests, the unique combination of art and nature camp at deCordova gets kids building large-scale installations in the Sculpture Park inspired by both the landscape and culture surrounding them.
  • Each camp offers various age groups, exciting themes, and abounding opportunities with half day options for youngers and more in-depth and CIT options for teens.
