The Ways of Water
About
Calling all young explorers! Simon's Rock is excited to offer a new summer program that focuses on an interdisciplinary examination of the many different roles water plays in our lives. Participants will take part in hands-on activities guided by college professors. Explorations include water as food, life, recreation, and power. Adventures include whitewater rafting, daily swim lessons, experiments in the Fisher Science and Academic Center, growing veggies in the campus garden, canoe trips on local lakes, hikes at historical sites, and more! The day program runs July 6–17 and is open to ages 11–13. If The Ways of Water is not able to be held in July because of governmental restrictions and advisories, Bard College at Simon’s Rock will refund all payments made up to that point.
