NECIR Pre-College Summer Journalism Institute
The New England Center for Investigative Reporting presents a once-in-a-lifetime experience for high school students interested in journalism, writing or communications: the Pre-College Summer Journalism Institute at Boston University. Each two-week session provides students with hands-on, real life learning. Making Boston our beat, students are guided by award-winning working journalists providing them the tools to report and write on what's happening in real time in Boston. These events can vary from government, business, sports, entertainment, crime, courts, the arts and more. We also expose students to techniques for writing investigative reports, too. The Institute serves as an exploration of campus life and the city of Boston. To learn more, visit our website at www.necir.org/summer.
