THE BEST SUMMERS EVER
We are going into our 12th wonderful summer of being part of the Grotonwood family. I have 3 children and a nephew who have attended a week every summer since second grade. Two of them went last winter to elevate and are looking forward to the next one.
The experiences, friendships and family they have gained will last their lifetime. They are sad to leave and long for the next summer to go back.
The staff are amazing! They are welcoming and friendly. All children are very well cared for and loved.
The routine of games, worship, adventures, swimming, and what my children tell me REALLY GOOD FOOD make a perfect week at away camp.
My kids grew up here
My three sons have all attended Grotonwood Camp from the time they were 5 and 6 years old. They have enjoyed day camp, overnight camp, and retreats. My older two have worked at camp and both wrote their college essays about their experiences with Grotonwood. (Yes, the camp had that much of a profound effect on them.) GW is the quintessential summer camp and after my kids attending for 14 years, I was lucky enough to attend "family camp" (with a friend) for a weekend last summer (2019). I plan to return this summer. There is no other place like GW! (And, if you're a working parent, like me, you'll appreciate the early drop off/late pick up option, as well as the hot meals...that's right -- no packing a lunch for your kids all summer!)
My daughter loves this place and so do I. It is a great camp for both young kids and teens. We have been sending our daughter for a few years now . Everyone is super friendly and the camp and cabins are well kept I make jokes that the cabins are nicer then our home. You need to try it you wont be sorry
