Camp Kodiak

Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, and high-functioning ASD (formerly diagnosed as high-functioning Asperger’s Syndrome). Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports and activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities - athletic, artistic and social - to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small. We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.

Best camp ever

I miss this camp so much! Summers 2016-2019 were the best summers of my life. The camp offers a lot of fun activities such as waterskiing, archery go karting etc. The Leaders in Training (L.I.T) program is a great oppourtunity for high school students to complete their community service hours required for graduation. The counselors are professional and understanding and are mostly teachers in training. This place is great haven for children and teens with high functioning autism and learning disabilities with professional and understanding staff to guide them. This camp is the best camp ever, I give it 10/10!
