Debate Camp is built for the eager learner in grades 5 to 11, who has an emerging interest in the wider world. We help build the highly transferrable skills of persuasive speaking, parliamentary debate and dialogue on the important and interesting matters of our time. No previous experience is necessary. We provide training in:
• how to build a convincing debate case
• how to collaborate well
• how to carefully refute opponents’ points
• how to weigh evidence
• how to deliver speeches clearly and convincingly to a variety of audiences
Our program features parliamentary debate, persuasive and impromptu public speaking as well as a Model UN simulation. Our camps are a welcoming and safe place to develop new and valuable skills and most importantly we maintain a fun and engaging approach to all that we do.
Debate Camp offers a range of fun and engaging academic enrichment activities.
