Description Founded in 1957 Applewild has retained a sense of family and community. Through the years it has maintained its emphasis on effective partnership with parents and individual relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Our preschool program for children ages 2.9 – 5 is for families seeking an enriched, curriculum based program. We offer this program through our Child Development Center at Applewild on our main campus and through Applewild at Devens, conveniently located immediately off of Route 2. That location also offers before and after-care, just as on our main campus, making Applewild easily accessible by bus from towns to the east just as we are from the north, south and west. Our Summer Program is another way that families can experience Applewild. Our K-8 school year program is the core of what we do at Applewild. We focus intentionally on children ages 4 – 15, confident that students this age are enthusiastic learners who prosper within a safe environment in which adults know them well, have high expectations for them, and inspire them. The consistent emphasis on Core Competencies assures a strong foundation in both knowledge and essential skills. Our graduates frequently become mainstays of their secondary school instrumental, choral or drama groups and sports teams in addition to excelling in academics and going on to an impressive list of colleges.
Summary Applewild School is an independent elementary and middle school located in historic Fitchburg, Massachusetts conveniently near Concord(MA), Southern New Hampshire and the greater Nashua and Worcester areas.
