Too Old for Camp? Get Ready to Lead!

Being a pre-teen can be tough, but learning about leadership can help bridge the gap between childhood and early adulthood. Developing self-awareness, connecting with peers, and learning to be a role model builds confidence and transferable skills they’ll use in high school and beyond. Join Hale Day Camp staff members Michaela Hunt and Burke Lanzillo to learn how CITs (Counselors-in-Training) gain skills through workshops, activities, and shadowing counselors as they work with groups. From mentoring young campers to coaching new mountain bikers to co-leading backpacking trips in the mountains, growing up is a lot more fun with Hale. 7-8 PM. Zoom. Free.
