Montserrat’s STEAM Academy is for students ages 8–11 (Minors) and our older group ages 12–15 (Majors). The four, week-long programs are fun and challenging for students to experience exciting creative endeavors while being introduced to various techniques and skills.
Students may attend three classes for a full day (9–11am, 11:45am–1:45pm, 2–4pm), or choose a morning class, mid-morning class, and/or afternoon class.
Courses offered include Cartooning and Comics, Min-Engineers, 3-D printing, painting, photography, filmmaking, puppet-making, animation and more. Classes are taught by Montserrat faculty and guest art faculty from nearby schools.
Lunches are supervised for students who elect a full-day program.
