Minni PaperShop - Mother's Day Flowers (virtual)
Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments. In Minni PaperShop – Mother’s Day Flowers (virtual) students will learn how to design bright paper bouquets just in time for Mother’s Day. Instructor Maria will guide students through the process of folding, trimming and bunching colorful flowers using a variety of techniques and colorful paper. Materials Needed + Paper to make flowers with, such as tissue paper (recommended), newspaper, magazine pages, printer paper and construction paper + Pipe cleaners (twist ties + popsicle sticks or straws are great alternatives) + Elmer’s Glue + Paint brush for glue application + Optional: Ribbon to tie bouquet together! + Optional: Large beads for the middle of the flowers We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop.
