Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts
The complete schedule will be available in mid-March. Featured events include: * Music by Leonard Bernstein performed by Boston Lyric Opera, followed by a discussion of his opera "Trouble in Tahiti" * "Late Night with Leonard Bernstein," a cabaret-style concert narrated by his daughter, Jamie Bernstein * A concert version of Bernstein's “Mass,” performed by the Brandeis University Chorus and guest artists * Premiere of a new work by Saad Haddad, the winner of the 2017 Lydian String Quartet commission prize The annual Festival of the Creative Arts showcases nationally acclaimed performers and visual artists together with music, dance, theater, film and artwork by more than 300 Brandeis students and alumni. The Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts is free and open to the public and produced by the Office of the Arts at Brandeis.
