Featured events include: * Super Sunday: a full afternoon of performances and art activities for all ages, April 7 April 11-14 The Bacchae With vibrant original songs and choreography, this new translation of the Greek tragedy takes a contemporary look at political tyranny and religious ecstasy. Presented by the Department of Theater Arts. April 13 Brandeis Folk Fest Performers from around New England. Free and family friendly! Plus: The Rose Art Museum presents the exhibition “Howardena Pindell: What Remains to Be Seen” Concerts by the Lydian String Quartet, the Brandeis University Chorus and Chamber Singers and the Brandeis Early Music Ensemble The Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts is free and open to the public and produced by the Office of the Arts at Brandeis. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Waltham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
