Come be amazed by spectacular science demonstrations by the Harvard Lecture Demonstration Team! You’ll see color changes, sparks, and even some fiery explosions! There will be audience participation, opportunities to ask questions, and a chance to talk with the demonstrators afterwards. The show will last approximately one hour. Open to all ages! ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
Harvard Lecture Demonstrations consists of a team of scientists who develop, construct, and present demonstrations for science lectures in the Science Center building. Our lecture demonstrations have two important purposes: to increase student understanding of the concepts demonstrated, and to increase student enjoyment of class. Working with the teaching faculty, we aim to clarify and enhance the scientific concepts presented in class with visible, memorable, and sometimes mind-blowing effects!
