Tri River Family Health Center Adolescent Substance Abuse Town hall
According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, from 2013 to 2014, opioids accounted for more than a quarter of all fatalities in the 18 to 24 age group. For individuals from 25 to 34, opioids were responsible for more than a third of all deaths, risingto more than 40 percent for men in the group. Join UMass Memorial Health Care at Tri River Family Health Center located at 281 E Hartford Ave in Uxbridge for a town hall discussion. The event will take place on Thursday, July 26, from 4-5:30pm. Our discussion will be focused on a panel of adolescents in different stages of recovery from substance abuse talking about their struggles as well as social work clinicians and physicians to answer questions or talk about treatment options available.
