Group presents autism-friendly performance of Annie
Open Door Theater is offering a unique live theater performance of their musical Annie specially adapted for audience members on the autism spectrum. Adaptations include lighting changes, a meet and greet with characters before the show, a chill out space and more.
The theater company worked closely with Autism Alliance of MetroWest to prepare the cast and crew for the special needs of the audience. Pre-performance materials have also been assembled for caregivers to help prepare the attendees.
Tickets for the Jan. 19, noon show are $8 and require advance reservation. Call 978-264-8150 or visit www.opendoortheater.org/autismfriendly for more information.
