Easter Egg Hunts in Boston and Around Massachusetts

It’s that time of year when the Easter bunny visits and hides treasure-filled eggs for our littles to search out and find. For 2016 Easter egg hunts in Greater Boston and around Massachusetts, check out the events below. Visit websites for registration information and cost.


19 Saturday


Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, 10am to noon, Upper Rotunda, Faneuil Hall, Boston. Pick up your Easter basket and clue sheet and visit businesses to find eggs. Registration required. FREE. 617-523-1300;


Easter Egg Hunt, 12pm – 3pm, Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, 37 Eddy Street, Norton. Bring your favorite basket and head to the playground area and start your search for Easter eggs (10 eggs per child) to cash in for a delicious surprise! You may run into your favorite bunny while you are searching for Eggs! Easter Egg hunts are held every Saturday and Sunday through March 27. 508-285-6451;;


Easter Egg Hunt, 2pm, Bass Pro Shops, One Bass Pro Drive, Foxborough. Easter egg hunts and activities will run on Saturdays and Sundays from March 18 to March 27. There will other fun activities such as crafts for kids and photos with the Easter Bunny! FREE. 508-216-2000;

Egg Safari Scavenger Hunt, 10am – 3pm, Roger Williams Park Zoo, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Providence, R.I. Pick up your Scavenger Hunt Card to claim your eggs around the zoo! Follow the clues on the card and turn your eggs in at the redemption station for a prize.


26 Saturday


Attleboro Farms Easter Egg Hunt, 10am, Attleboro Farms, 491 Hickory Road, North Attleboro. Go on an egg hunt to find some delicious treats around the farm! 508-695-7200;


Easter Egg Hunt, 10am, Francis William Bird Park, 251 Washington St., Walpole. Bring the little ones to find chocolate eggs hidden around the park. Family, $20. 781-784-0567;


Spring Egg Hunt, 10am, Titus Sparrow Park, West Newton Street, Boston. Take part in one of the three egg hunts for kids (ages 0-3, 4-6 and 7+) or head to the arts and crafts tables. There will be snacks and coffee as well as a special visit from the Easter Bunny! FREE.


Egg-cellent Easter Adventure, 10am to 12pm, Appleton Farms, Route 1A, Ipswich. Go on a quest around the farm collecting eggs, visit the calves, enjoy snacks and make crafts. Registration required. 978-356-5728 x18;

Annual Roslindale Egg Hunt, 11am to 2pm, Healy Field, Washington Street and Firth Road, Roslindale.  Be sure to bring your basket or a bag because your child will have a blast hunting for 5,000 filled eggs with the Easter Bunny throughout Healy Field!
