More than 40,000 walkers and 2,000 volunteers will gather together for the country’s oldest continual pledge walk and the largest one-day fundraiser focused on alleviating hunger. The Walk for Hunger is 20 miles long and begins on the Boston Common, winding through Boston, Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Cambridge. There is a rolling start at the Boston Common between 7 and 9am and you can start and finish wherever you want. You can register and begin at any checkpoint and there are free buses available at each checkpoint to shuttle you back to the Boston Common finish line.
People or all ages and backgrounds will gather together for this event. There is no minimum amount you need to raise, but every walker is encouraged to raise as much as he or she can. Hide
