The 6th annual Scituate North Pole Express will be sponsored by the Scituate CORSE Foundation (Community of Resources for Special Education) and S.H.O.R.E. (Scituate High Opportunities and Resources for Education). Trains will depart from Greenbush Commuter Rail Station at 11am, 1, 4 or 6pm. Passengers should arrive 30 minutes prior to departure of their scheduled times. Children and adults alike will enjoy this 60-90 minute train ride which replicates the journey to the North Pole as told in the classic story of “The Polar Express." Along the ride the children will be read this holiday story, be served milk and cookies, sing Christmas carols, receive the first gift of Christmas and be greeted by holiday characters including Santa and Mrs. Claus. Tickets for this event are $25, four pack is $90; children 1 year of age and under ride free on the lap of an adult. Proceeds from this event go to these two worthy non-profits, CORSE and S.H.O.R.E.
