Visit a breathtaking garden of 37,000 American flags on Boston Common constructed over several hours by hundreds of local volunteers to honor our service men and women over Memorial Day weekend. This garden contains one flag for every single service member from Massachusetts who died while serving our country since the Revolutionary War.

This garden is one of several Community Building Events offered by the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides support, programs and services to families of Massachusetts service members who have died on active duty since 9/11/2001.

The flag planting project is a wonderful community building event and we welcome help from volunteers of all ages in putting the garden together on May 21. Want to volunteer to set up flags?
