When the trees sparkle and window displays entice, the Freedom Trail offers many unique ways to discover Boston’s history along the iconic red line. The Freedom Trail Foundation celebrates the holiday season with the annual Historic Holiday Stroll. Visitors enjoy the festive atmosphere of the city, set against the unique backdrop of Boston’s historic sites and the American Revolution on this merry 90-minute tour offered Thursdays through Sundays at 3:30 p.m. from November 19 through January 2016. Led by 19th-century Dickensian costumed guides, the festive stroll is complete with a tour of holiday lights and Christmas trees along the Freedom Trail and an exclusive visit to the Omni Parker House for signature refreshments and world-famous Boston Cream Pie. Tickets are $29 for adults and $19 for children and include a $1 donation to the Freedom Trail Foundation’s Preservation Fund. Hide
