The National Park Service will offer free admission to every visitor on nine days in 2015.
The 2015 entrance fee-free days are:

February 14-16: Presidents Day weekend
April 18 & 19: National Park Week’s opening weekend
August 25: National Park Service’s 99th birthday
September 26: National Public Lands Day

Join an Arboretum volunteer to discover the Arboretum on guided walks for families. Each walk will highlight different plants and natural phenomena while developing observational skills in children. One adult may bring a maximum of three children; suitable for children ages four through twelve. Meet in the Visitor Center.

Discover the fascinating fish of Wellfleet Bay! Meet live fish to learn how these aquatic creatures are perfectly adapted for life underwater. Afterwards, paint a fish with a beautiful array of colors to create a print on paper or a t-shirt to take home. Program cost: $8 for Mass Audubon members; $10 for non-members.

This was a great article written by Dr. Anne Paris. I love the ideas and tools she gives to use. I have all three of the Empathy Way books and can't wait to read them to my Grandkids so that they can become Caring Empathetic Children and later teens, which is so important, especially in this world we live in.
