Families work together making chocolate truffles and creamy white marshmallow fudge in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen to take home and enjoy. Children must be at least 6 years old to participate in a kitchen workshop. Fee is $25 per family. Advance registration is required by calling 508-888-6870. As an organization that also provides Intensive Foster Care, The Home for Little Wanderers has found that many people are unaware of the different types of foster care. This topic has occupied my mind for years! Thank you for starting a movement that parents so desperately need! It is difficult for young parents to NOT get caught up in the overscheduled lifestyle. No well-meaning parent wants their child to miss any opportunity for healthy enrichment, but too much is counterproductive! Although my children are teenagers now, I would have LOVED to hear your words of wisdom when my family craved downtime!
