Urbanity Dance, chosen Best of Boston: Boston’s Best Dance Troupe 2015 by Boston Magazine, is a nonprofit contemporary dance company and school.
Our faculty incorporate their diverse backgrounds in dance to lead students in learning dance styles such as contemporary, hip hop, tap, acro, improvisation, and more. As a team, students actively explore artistic expression and creativity through technique and choreography while pushing to their improve strength, coordination, flexibility, and range of motion.

Additionally for youth, Urbanity offers performance driven education opportunities through our Youth Company and Hip Hop Crew, both of which allow students to work at an accelerated pace while performing throughout the Greater Boston area. For teens and young adults, Urbanity also has a Trainee Program which helps prepare dancers for a career in the field of dance.

Urbanity offers classes Monday-Saturday and most classes are offered in multiple sections, matching the busy and complicated schedules of modern families. Financial assistance and planning is available for your convenience.
