OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, April 6th from 12:30-3:30

The DAY CAMP at Camp West Woods is designed so that campers have fun, improve physical skills, make friends, enjoy personal and group success, and build self-esteem. Activities include Red Cross swim instruction, ropes course, gymnastics, sports, archery, nature, arts & crafts, yoga, woodworking, Karate, dance, drama, music, and much more.

GYMNASTICS CAMP, designed for gymnasts entering grades 2-10 who have had prior gymnastics experience, shares facilities with Camp West Woods. An extension of the Academy of Gymnastics school-year program, the camp trains boys and girls to develop their full gymnastics potential. Campers spend approximately 50% of each day in the gym, participating in stretching, conditioning, and learning and refining skills on all of the pieces of equipment. The remainder of the day is spent outside of the gym, where campers enjoy both swim lessons and free swim, as well as selected other camp activities (ropes course, dance, arts & crafts, etc.). The Gymnastics Camp offers occasional special events throughout the summer, including a late night where the gymnasts have the opportunity to perform for their families.

Designed for campers entering grades 3-11, the ADVENTURE BOUND PROGRAM offers participants the opportunity to explore the outdoors through a series of day trips and overnights. This is the ideal program for the camper who is looking for an alternative to the traditional day camp experience. The program allows children and adolescents to gain self-confidence, make new friends, and learn practical skills in a safe, supportive environment. Activities include hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, camping overnights, Boston trips, and much more. Since it began in the 1990s, Adventure Bound has expanded to develop into a favorite summer choice for many local children.

The LOWER CAMP is specifically designed to meet the needs and developmental level of children 3 to 5 years old. Campers are placed in small peer groups and led by qualified and caring counselors. The LOWER CAMP includes a variety of enrollment options:
