Have a mom that loves to get outdoors? Plan a special Mother’s Day outing that includes both brunch and a spring stroll. Mass Audubon’s Blue Hills Trailside Museum and Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary are both offering pancake breakfast/hiking events.
Lilac Day at the Arnold Arboretum is also an annual Mother’s Day tradition. It’s the only day of the year they allow picnicking, so bring a basket or hit up the food trucks for some snacks and enjoy the fragrant blooms.
Moms get free admission on Mother’s Day at several venues, too. Franklin Park and Stone Zoos and Old Sturbridge Village are a few offering the discount.
