The Phantom Tollbooth (Random House, 1961) celebrates the power of imagination. Inspired by Milo’s adventures in this classic book by Norton Juster, the Boston Parents Paper invites kids, ages 16 and under, to share with us how they solved a problem – any problem. Maybe they stopped a baby brother from crying or fixed a broken toy. Perhaps they invented something useful for the family. Everyone who shares a solution will be entered into a drawing to win four signed copies of The Phantom Tollbooth, donated by Brookline Booksmith, and four family four-pack of tickets to see The Phantom Tollbooth at Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston.
To enter, email how you solved your problem to Boston.ParentsPaper@parenthood.com and write “Phantom Tollbooth” in the subject line or mail to Boston Parents Paper, 639 Granite St., Suite 25, Braintree MA 02184. Include your name, age, address and phone number. Entry deadline is Oct. 30.
